“OLBANIAN” LAGUAGE IN THE STRUCTURE OF LITERARY TEXT: ASPECTS OF IMPACT
Abstract:
The article describes peculiarities of using the “Olbanian” language for stylistic purposes — as a means of creating pictures of modern life (active Internet communication, aggressive communication environment in the Internet, etc.); the image of modern person (Internet user). Reflection of such specific feature of Padonkaffsky jargon (yazyk padonkaff) as “anti-literate” spelling on the pages of literary works is explained by the new tendency in literature — to portray the virtual life of a XXIst-century person as authentically as possible. The study reveals the identifying function of the “Olbanian” language, which, together with the nick, which is often the only name of the main character, becomes a means of creating a new type of literary character — the virtual personage. The author also notes the plot-forming and comic functions of the specific net language in literary text. Reconstruction of graphic peculiarities of Padonkaffsky jargon both in the speech of the characters and in the language of the narrator presents an important stylistic means in modern literature. Inclusion of text units originating from the Internet discourse into literary speech, on the one hand, renovates it, on the other hand — consolidates the principle of information perception that dominates in the digital epoch — the principle of visualization. The article presents a case study of texts by Russian authors who use the Internet dialogue of the characters as a new compositional technique.
