About the Journal
“Trudy Instituta Russkogo Iazyka imeni V.V. Vinogradova” (Proceedings of the V.V. Vinogradov Russian Language Institute) is an international open-accessed peer-reviewed academic journal published four times per year. Edited since 2013. Its founder and publisher is the Vinogradov Russian Language Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Aims & Scope
The journal is focusing on current research in Russian language, providing an academic platform for leading Russian and foreign scholars and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field and to make quality information available to a broader public of readers and internet users. It is fully committed to publishing evidence-based, data-driven original studies of highest quality. The journal publishes works on the theory and history of the Russian language, discussions on controversial issues in Russian linguistics, documental sources and materials on the history of the Russian language, chronicles of current events and reviews of the most interesting domestic and foreign research works. Papers dealing with Russian phonetics and phonology, morphology, syntax, pragmatics, semantics, etymology, dialectology, corpus linguistics, and gesture language are presented. Articles are published in Russian, English, or German. Editorial quality is assured by a peer-review process conducted by linguists from a variety of theoretical orientations, geographic focuses, and institutional affiliations.
The journal operates on a no-fee open access basis: the journal does not charge any publication fees, all publications are freely available to the reader on the journal's website immediately after publication.
