Features of the individual style of the poet can be found in the works of such important components as the epigraph and dedication. The article determines the distinctive features of semantics framework structures of the novel “Eugene Onegin”, using philological analysis.

Components of the heading complex play an important role in interpreting the text. Semantic structure of the epigraph models in miniature complex semantic structure of the novel as a whole. The analysis of the dedication shows the presence in the arsenal of Pushkin’s poetics of a device tentatively called the device of ethical legitimization.
