 This article is the confrontative analysis of the nouns which are derived from the Pro- toslavonic roots *mil-, *l’ub-, *lask-, and *kox- in Russian and Polish, both in their liter- ary and dialectal forms. All these nouns belong to the lexical field ‘love’.
