COMMUNICATIVELY RELEVANT MEANINGS AND THEIR LEXICAL AND GRAMMATICAL EXPRESSION IN EVERYDAY SPEECH

The paper considers the соnсeрt «communicatively relevant meanings», i. e. the topics that mainly interest people in everyday communication and which require adequate lexical and grammatical expression. This notion is illustrated by the analysis of some lexical groups containing words used in MODERN everyday Russian speech and by some grammatical phenomena. The material under consideration are examples from the “Explanatory Dictionary of Russian Everyday Speech”, which is compiled under the su- pervision of the author of this article.
