TO CLARIFY THE DATING OF THE PSALTIRE NLR, Q.p.I.37
Abstract:
The article conducts a comprehensive paleographic, graphic-orthographic and textual study of the Old Russian psalter Q.p.I.37, which has a very wide dating in various catalogues, caused, in our opinion, by the fact that it was written in the inter-Slavic language environment and therefore has a number of features that distinguish its Old Russian manuscripts of the XII–XIII centuries. The dating to the turn of the 13th–14th centuries, proposed by the first descriptor of the manuscript I. A. Bychkov and reflected in the catalog by E. E. Granstrem, is confirmed. The commonality of some Old Russian manuscripts of the 13th century, which have South Slavic graphic and spelling features, is pointed out, which appeared before the period of the second South Slavic infl uence at the end of the 14th century.
