REGIONAL LEXIC IN DICTIONARIES OF THE XXI CENTURY

Abstract:

The article examines dictionaries of regionalisms created within the framework of the Internet projects “Language of Cities and People”, “As they say: local words in different regions of Russia”, the material for which was the texts of regional media, social networks, surveys of forum participants. During their preparation, the Internet capabilities were used to verify the semantics of words and clarify their localization. The authors analyze amateur dictionaries of the Urals and Perm in suffi cient detail. Such publications are caused by the desire of the compilers to emphasize their regional identity and the uniqueness of the language of which they are native speakers.
The appearance of such publications has re-actualized the discussion of the concept of regional norms, types of regionalisms, description of neutral, slang and expressive vocabulary.
The authors believe that any source, including souvenir dictionaries, can serve as a material for studying regionalisms, since they refl ect the metalanguage activity of a native speaker, the idea of the territorial marking of a linguistic unit and its identity.
