Abstract:

At the turn of the century, the genre of the dictionary of poetics, correlated with the concept of the transformation of the literary word, took shape in the Russian writer (author) lexicography. The foundations of the genre were laid by the experimental “Dictionary of the language of Russian Soviet Poetry”, the idea of which belonged to V. P. Grigoriev. In the published materials of this dictionary (small in volume), the e xperience of describing diff erent types of word transformations was proposed. Currently, the dictionary of poetics is represented mainly by dictionaries of images / tropes, refl ecting semantic transformations of the word. Such dictionaries are systematized according to various differential features: by the number of authors described in dictionaries, by the generic affiliation of selected texts, by the object of description (one type of fi gurative means or their combination), etc. An important source in the study of the history of the language of literature, the evolution of its fi gurative structure are the composite dictionaries of poetics. Monographic dictionaries of this variety are aimed at recreating the fi gurative model of the world of an individual author or a fragment of such a model. The article gives examples of monographic dictionaries of poetics based on the material of the works of poets and prose writers of diff erent times, characterizes the principles of their compilation, analyzes samples of dictionary entries. Attention is also paid to the explanatory dictionaries of the writer’s language, which fi x the semantic transformations of the word with the help of the labels of the corresponding content.
