RAPPROCHEMENT OF THE POETIC AND THE ORDINARY DISCOURSES AS A SUBJECTIVIZATION STRATEGY IN THE POETRY OF TEXT-GROUP “ORBITA”

The article analyzes the use of the discourse marker ved’ (‘but, after all, because, etc.’) in terms of the interaction of poetic discourse with the “ordinary” one, based on the material of the poetry of the text-group “Orbita”. The choice of the marker ved’ is motivated by its frequency in the texts of “Orbita”, as well as by the indicative prag- matic function: the reference to the communicative situation and artistic reality can be investigated through this discourse marker. This issue, in turn, appeals to the important  problem of the relationship between poetic and objective reality. Since discourse markers are characterized by “weakened signifi cance” realized in context, we have analyzed the various aspects of the pragmatic functioning of the discourse marker ved’. As a result of the study, the so-called “conventionalization” of poetic discourse has been identified, assessed as an artistic device of the text-group and aimed at the subjectivation of poetic expression. This trend of deliberately non-creative use of the language is due to geopoli tical and socio-communicative factors: the geographic isolation of Riga Russian- speaking poets from the literary environment, localized mainly in Moscow and St. Pe- tersburg and the related specifi city of poetic communication implemented in the Internet. The analysis showed that the subjectivation of the utterance in the aspect of the use of the discourse marker is achieved by strengthening the meaning of the predicate, the degree of quality of the object, intensifi ed refutation, the emotional evaluative reaction of the subject to the reality depicted in the poetic text.
