Abstract:

The article contains a brief description of the terminologization of occasional words in the philosophy of the Russian sophist Nikolai Fedorov. The article analyzes the basic types of N.F. Fedorov philosophical terms and focuses on their basic creation method. Терминологизация авторских неологизмов в философском творчестве Н.Ф. Федорова 197 Analysis of the data of the selected material (350 units) helped to identify an approximate number of authorial neologisms and describe their main types. Composition and its varieties play the most important role in Fedorov’s authorial term system. The philosopher also uses affixation, as well as a combined method: composition combined with affixation. The roots organ, otets/ots/otch, patro, tvor have the largest number of derivatives in the texts of N.F. Fedorov. Author’s neologisms often form derivational «nests», which also include common lexemes. Some occasional words turn into authorial terms. An authorial philosophical term is understood in the work as a lexical item associated with the texts of a certain author; it represents a philosophical concept, is formed by morphological, syntactic or semantic methods and belongs to the authorial philosophical term system. The article analyzes the termhood of the lexeme patrofication: the word gets a contextual definition and finds conceptual links in the authorial philosophical term system. Becoming a term, the author’s neologism loses close connection with the generating context and begins to function not only in the term-generating works, but also in term-fixing texts and texts using the term.
