CULINARY TERMINOLOGY IN BULGARIAN DIALECTS AND ITS LINGUOGEOGRAPHIC PROJECTION IN OLA (onomasiological and word -forming models)

Abstract:

This article presents the onomasiological and word-forming models of the names nomination in the culinary terminology in Bulgarian dialects. The Bulgarian material is analyzed in a Slavonic perspective, some maps of the OLA, a few maps, reflections and the data from Tatiana Vendina’s monograph „Typology of the Slavic Lexical Areas“ (2014) are commented. The culinary names in Bulgarian dialects are compared with similar names from other Slavic languages, and the place of Bulgarian dialects in the Slavic linguistic family is also indicated.
