Abstract:

The article is dedicated to the study and presentation of the grammatical system of the Russian language. In order to determine the grammatical basis of language studies of the previous period, it is focused on the grammatical system and its basic structures, while modern linguistics chooses the functional-communicative approach. It is important to analyze spoken language and to analyze those compounds which construct it. It appears that non-standard constructions play an important role in the mechanism of speech organization.

The article reviews several studies, implementing this approach to language. However the main attention is paid to sentences with phraseological structure in terms of their semantic features, functional and communicative potential. Semantics of such sentences expresses various subjective modal meanings, i.e., attitude of the speaker to the content of message. Subjective modality characterizes them as communication units, reflecting the communicative situation, "speaker — message — interlocutor". By using sentences with phraseological structure, one expresses one's attitude to the message, and therefore encourages the interlocutor to active participation in the dialogue. Such sentences realize a phatic function in communication. They form an independent class of structures, which gives them a significant communicative potential.
