NOTES ON THE MARGIN OF DIALECTAL DICTIONARY

The paper is devoted to an etymological analysis of several Russ. words, defined as obscure, from “Dictionary of Russian Dialects in Republic of Mordovia”. All words have not been studied in etymological dictionaries. The information, suggested by dialectal dictionary, lets more profoundly to define word content of Russian language, to find words, lost in Russian language, to follow the semantic development, to reconstruct the character of motivated relationship. Lexika gives information for study of material culture (cf. textile terminology). Some words reflect archaic stage in semantic development (замолаживать, обзадачить, пошлина, скрылять etc.). While defining of intern form of words it makes more wide the interpretation of etymological families (заворка, запятина, защаблина, клица, омежной, сныть, собор, стяблый, понетка, прилик, расковородить etc.).
