IN MEMORY OF SOFIA VLADIMIROVNA BROMLEJ

The article describes the scientific way of S. V. Bromley one of the best Russian dialectologists. She was the student of the founder of the Moscow phonological school Avanesov. Her studies on to the areal linguistics and the dialectal morphology are perfect. She was the editor (together with R. I. Avanesov) of the fundamental geolinguistic projects Russian Dialect Atlas.
