KARTSEVSKY AT THE BEGINNING OF HIS SCIENTIFIC CAREER (BASED ON ARCHIVE MATERIALS)

In the Central Archives of the University of Geneva (Archives Administratives et  Patrimoniales — AAP) are stored 12 small texts written by S. I. Kartsevsky with the comments of his teacher, Charles Bally. The texts discuss a variety of linguistic issues. All of them were written during the Kartsevsky’s fi rst year in the university: September 1913 — June 1914. These texts can be divided into two groups: texts dealing with theoretical problems, and questions of word formation and word usage. This texts were published in their entirety in Cahiers de Ferdinand de Saussure 72 (2019). This material has never been published in Russian before.
