East Slavic linguistic and geographical problems *

The Editorial board included in present issue the last article of T. V. Popova, who died in 2014 y. The article sums up the fundamental project “The Earst Slavic isoglosses”. In the work the analysis of the Earst Slavic linguistic landscape is presented. The dialect zones, which are characterized by archaic and innovation features, were revealed on the basis of the study of grammatical, phonetic and lexics phenomena. Special attention is paid to vocality/consonant of dialect systems.
