The content of the 9th issue of the phonetic-grammatical series of the OLA, deals with the Proto-Slavic *or, *ol, *er, *el diphthongic combinations in the interconsonant (*tort, *tolt, *tert, *telt) and initial (*ort, *olt) positions of the word in Slavic dialects. We also review the maps of the 12th issue “Personal traits of a person” of the OLA lexicalword- forming serie, which refl ects a fragment of the traditional spiritual culture of the Slavs related to the ideas of a person, his distinctive qualities and properties.
