WORD CREATION AS A PARAMETER OF THE IDIOSTYLE DESCRIPTION (based on the prose of E. Nekrasova)

The article defi nes the criteria for idiostyle characteristic (belonging) of word-formation innovations in the writer’s texts. The works of the contemporary prose writer Evgenia Nekrasova are the material for the analysis. The ratio of potential and occa- sional formations in her texts is shown, groups of word-formation innovations which are regularly used in the writer’s works are highlighted. These are complex adjectives with a zero suffi x, substantivates, derivatives with polu- affi xoid, etc.). Hyphenated complexes in Nekrasova’s texts are considered. The connection of created words built according to certain models, with the themes and motives of the works under consideration is shown. The orientation of word-formation innovations in Nekrasova’s texts towards expressive derivatives of colloquial speech is noted. It is concluded that the purposeful selection of new formations determines the characteristics of the emerging individual style of E. Nekrasova.
