Abstract:

The paper focuses on the liturgical Menaia included in the new corpus of Slavic liturgical books which was created in Ohrid under the archbishop Joannes (1018–1037). At the time of Kievan metropolitan Hilarion (1051–1054) these liturgical books were transferred from Ohrid to Kiev, to be used in the Kievan metropoly in the 2nd half of the 11th through 13th century.
