TOWARD THE FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF POETIC CORPORA

The existing poetic corpora generally lack at least three things: (1) correct chronological ordering of different redactions of poetic texts; (2) tools designed for the analysis of different rhythmic forms of the same meter and different rhythmic types of the same meter; and (3) tools designed for the quantitative and structural analysis of sound in poetry. This paper outlines some solutions to these problems.
