THE PROBLEMS OF NORM AND SPELLING CODIFICATION OF COMPOUND NOUNS

Article is devoted to one of the most difficult areas of modern codification — fused/with hyphen/separate writing of compound nouns or combination of applications and invariable attributions. We consider a problem how to define the norms and standards taking in consideration the main factors in the field of compound nouns writing, such as: the existence of transient phenomena, the trend towards unification/differentiation spelling, vocabulary of the variability, the effect of analogy. The result of the analysis is a new system of rules, covering the whole field, not controversial and linguistically based. The rules do not change the already codified norms.
